SERVICE TYPES
We provide CENTER, HOME, and FACILITY BASED services. Our classrooms for the Infant toddler/preschool classrooms are equipped with manipulative’s and educational materials that enhance their cognitive, communication, social, and physical areas of development. All our providers are certified and trained to work with children with autism/developmental delays. We follow the goals of the IFSP in an integrative setting. Our sensory integration gym is utilized to work on the child’s ABA skills and motor areas of development. We are an ADA . We have licensed Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, COTA’S, PTA’s, Social Workers, Psychologists, SI’s, Speech & Language Pathologists, and Neuro- Developmental pediatricians.
Services in all Boroughs
We provide EARLY INTERVENTION services for children ages 0 – 3 years-old who may be at risk of having or have developmental delays. We service children with ASD using the method of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Our ABA teachers utilize the ABLSSR in order to collect data to ensure attainment of IFSP goals and objectives. Our team of providers work closely with the failure to thrive population and other globally delayed populations on site, community, and home. Bright Start PT & PTA, PLLC also ensures that the embedded coaching method, which utilizes the engagement of families as active partners in the intervention process. Parents are given the opportunity to employ the therapeutic techniques through modeling and coaching during sessions.

Description of services
Multidisciplinary Evaluation
Under federal and state law, children thought to be eligible (e.g., referred with a suspected or confirmed disability) for the EIP are entitled to a multidisciplinary evaluation, which determine whether a child is eligible for the Early Intervention Program; assess a child’s physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive development; identify areas of developmental strengths and needs; and, learn and understand the parent’s resources, priorities, and concerns related to their child’s development.
Special Instruction
Special instruction is one of the support services offered to infants and toddlers by the Early Intervention Program (EIP) in the state of New York. Special instruction services consist of special educational sessions with a special instruction specialist, the child, and the child’s parents.
Physical therapy
Our Physical Therapy program is focused on improving core stability, neuromuscular re-education, and gross motor ability. Our therapists are specialized in pediatric physical therapy with years of experience. Our therapist utilizes evidence-based practices in creating a unique approach to meet your child’s needs for a bright future.
Speech Therapy
Our Speech-Language Pathologists work with children who have delays with receptive and/or expressive language, oral motor, articulation, swallowing, cognition, and social and educational skills. Through a team approach, our speech therapists help children achieve their therapy goals.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists work with children to help develop the skills necessary for participation in everyday life. Occupational Therapists can utilize many different frameworks in order to help a child reach their optimal functioning level. One approach that an Occupational Therapist uses is a Sensory Integrated approach.
